Do you know the Boyse Foundation?
The answer is probably no!
This is surprising in a way as the Foundation has been in existence for over a 100 years and its prime function has not changed in that time. It still helps children and young people living in Wellesbourne and Walton with education and as trustees we would like it to be better known.
Young people up to the age of 25 can apply to the trustees for a grant which generally does not exceed £300 although additional sums may be granted while in education to a total of £500. (see application form)
In the last decade we have been active in providing laptops and tablets to enable learning at home and this was particularly useful at the time of the pandemic. We have also provided grants to cover trips outside of the classroom. In essence we can consider any type of activity or apparatus that helps with the educational development of a young person.
Applications are invited for children in uninterrupted full time education who live in Wellesbourne. Applicants who are over 18 must either be on the parish Electoral Roll or provide proof of address.
Any grant will be made payable directly to the provider of the goods or services to be funded and payee details will be required.
Please complete the form (from this link:The Boyse Foundation - Grant Application Form ), attaching additional pages if required, and send to The Secretary preferably by email.
