Bellringing at St Peters
St Peter’s Church at Wellesbourne has a ring of eight bells with a tenor weighing 10cwt 0qtr 24lb tuned in the key of G. The back six bells were cast in 1681 by Henry Bagley of Chacombe, Northamptonshire and the two trebles were added 300 years later in 1981; these were cast by John Taylor Bellfounders Ltd of Loughborough.

The St Peter’s Guild of Bellringers currently regularly ring the bells at the following times:
Thursday Night Practice: 7.30 until 9.00pm
Sunday morning: 9.30 until 10.00am
We also ring for weddings by request and for other special services and events throughout the year.
All ringers are welcome to join us for practice or Sunday service ringing however it is advisable to telephone beforehand.
