Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee

St Peter's Church will joining the Parish Council in celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the following events are planned:
 
Saturday 2nd June
 
The Friends of St Peter's will be serving Cream Teas at 2:30 followed by Songs of Praise in the Church at 3:30.  All are welcome to attend – no booking necessary.

Throughout the afternoon, Wellesbourne in Bloom will be organising activities at St Peters Church Centre, including clay modelling, bird box making, badge and mask making and guided bug hunts.  All ages welcome.

Monday 4th June

Bellringing

Commencing at 10:00 am the bellringers will ring a Jubilee quarter peal on the bells of St Peter's
 
Jubilee Beacon & BBQ
 
A Diamond Jubilee Beacon financed by Wellesbourne Parish Council will be lit on the Tower of St Peter’s Church at approximately 10.20p.m.  The timing will suit the lighting of the Beacon in the Mall in London by Her Majesty the Queen.
There will be a barbeque at the Church Centre commencing at 7.30pm and there will be children's games and events. Tickets for the Barbeque will be £5.50 adults and £3.50 for children. There will be a licensed bar available serving wine and fruit juices
